What we will and will not publish
The public site is educational. It is not a lead funnel with a textbook attached, and it is not personalized advice.
Content explains a decision, shows a formula, or reports a sourced figure. We do not publish pages only to occupy a keyword.
Primary sources come first: the Federal Reserve, the IRS, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and named research such as Bengen’s withdrawal-rate paper. When a statistic is not in the repo, the page says which series is missing.
Assumptions sit next to results. A 4% withdrawal rate and a 5% real return are labeled as planning choices.
Material pages show an author, a publish date, and an updated date. The author is Arc, the product. We do not invent advisors, credentials, reviews, or customer quotes. If a named reviewer is added later, the content model already has a place for one.
There are no ads and no affiliate links on these pages. Compensation does not decide what gets published.
We review benchmark citations and tax-year limits when the source updates. A date on the page is the last edit, not a claim that every number was re-surveyed that morning.
